Meet Our Team!

Taunia Boeshans

Taunia is a mother of 1, with love and passion for helping others thrive. She fell in love with yoga in 2011- her first introduction was the Bikram 26/2 after a dramatic transition in life. Feeling transformed after class, she became an avid practitioner.

Taunia is Certified in Hatha Yoga, Hands on Assist, Foot zone Therapy, and Fascia. Sharing energy releasing techniques and deep fire in her classes, she teaches from both her soul and personal life experiences.  She truly believes yoga is a place to meet your true self and find unity.

In 2022 she opened Moqui Yoga & Wellness to build community and allow a safe place to be YOU. Taunia feels that yoga allows us to find balance in all aspects of life, cultivating self-love and mindfulness.  She believes the practice teaches us to breathe and dance through the ups and downs of life both on and off the mat.  She says you are your best teacher, and no one knows you better than yourself.

“KNOW yoga, KNOW peace. NO yoga, NO peace”

Namaste-Taunia

Sera Billings

I’m Sera! I’m married, mother to one beautiful daughter and another on the way! I’ve been teaching yoga for the past 5 years, and truly feel called to this space of sharing breath, movement and mindfulness with those I teach. I personally have experienced the many benefits of making yoga part of my life, and I love connecting with others as I help them find that same expansion and strength. I strive to make the practice of yoga accessible to those who may be new to it, and I’m skilled at helping to integrate the simple methods of decompressing the body + taking time to relax and go inward.

Enilse Urbaniak

As an artist, I have always appreciated beauty, health & spirituality. I started practicing (Iyengar) Yoga in 1984. Later mantra meditation led me to India where studied the mystical teachings of yoga, which deepened my practice. After a career in jewelry making and painting, I started and ran a full-time at yoga studio, Inner Light Yoga for 6 years, in downtown Hurricane. Later, I continued working as an alignment-based yoga and fitness instructor at Red Mountain Resort in Ivins, UT for 17 years. With first-hand experience and knowledge gained in yoga asana, pelvic floor health, restorative yoga and later, MELT Method, I bring enthusiastic expertise to guide athletes, yoga practitioners and office workers or to any-BODY who needs to reduce stress, ease chronic pain, improve sleep and digestion or to those who want to improve your well-being! I am confident that I can empower you on a journey to ease and balance. With over 30 years’ experience, I bring a skillful compassionate approach to teaching, delivered with precision, clarity and a keen eye to safety. In 2022, I started a new phase in my teaching career -the return to teaching Yoga and MELT and to my local Southern Utah community, where I have lived with my husband since 2001.

Kelbie Sorenson, E-RYT 200

I started practicing yoga regularly in 2018 after some traumatic events that occurred in my life. Yoga has helped me to feel safe in my own body. Not only has it helped me to feel safe in my own body, but also to enjoy being in my body. It has helped me increase my love for myself and my connection to myself. I want that for everyone.

My background is in vinyasa and power yoga. I enjoy teaching energetic and powerful classes, focusing on the breath and alignment.

I love people. My connection to others is incredibly important to me. I love the opportunity to meet new people and guide such a sacred practice. I believe that yoga has the power to change one’s life.

Lana Hiss

Aloha! My name is Lana. I have been practicing yoga for 6 or 7 years.

I have always loved to dance and stretch.

It was through discomfort in my hips and spine, that led me on this journey to the importance of a yoga practice. My body is in gratitude for learning to combine breath and movement, to work through tension and experience states of wholeness.

I took Elise Mitchell's teacher training in 2020. Studying the philosophies of yoga, combined with the inspirations and teachings from Elise, was life changing.

Yoga takes on a whole new form as you integrate it into your daily life, as an awakening meditation.

I look forward to all the growth that comes through using my voice to instruct, flow and breathe together.

Thank you for being a sacred part of this beautiful journey, to create health and unity.

Namaste!

Whitney Lawhon

Raised in the southwest desert of Utah I am a life-long lover of movement and dance, travel and adventure. As a kid I studied ballet, modern, and jazz dance and was a member of the Southwest Pro Street Dance Company and my high school drill team. I've also studied ATS (american tribal style) bellydance and pole dance fitness. I found yoga as an adult and fell in love with the moving meditation of it. Wanting to dive deeper into that practice I completed a 200 hour Anusara yoga training in 2009. It is a practice that has been a part of my life ever since. I am also certified in mat Pilates and Barefoot Barre fitness and have been teaching Barre classes since 2018.
